- Florida Capitol Center – A report on the proposed development, by A. D. Taylor and Herbert L. Flint (The State of Florida through Board of Commissioners of State Institutions & Florida State Improvement Commission, 1947), is an intriguing historical document about the architectural development of the Florida State Capitol area. The book contains both a historical study and architectural analyses for new buildings and infrastructure. The text is in English. The book is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and architectural drawings. Our copy is an ex-library copy removed from the Helsinki University of Technology collections. According to the markings, this particular copy was a donation from the Government of the United States of America, under Public Law 265, 81st Congress, as “an expression of the friendship and good will which the people of the United States hold for the people of Finland”. The pages are clean; no markings except for the usual library markings on the first flyleaf. The binding is fine. The plain covers have some remains of library stickers.
