Description Mid-Range, Textured Blue ESD Matting with textured, scratch resistant surface. Available to order in full rolls or cut-sized mats. Made with a thick, synthetic rubber material, comprised of two layers: a static dissipative surface and black conductive backing. Ideal for electronics manufacturing environments, providing excellent static dissipation to ground for the safe handling of static sensitive components. The static dissipative surface of the mat is resistant to abrasion, heat, solders flux and most commonly used solvents. The mat’s black conductive backing provides a superior and consistent ground path to Earth. Certified for RoHS and REACH regulations and compliant according to IEC-61340-5-1 International Standard. Grey matting also available. We recommend using a mild, neutral cleaner free from alkali, ammonia, and restricted RoHS/REACH chemicals. Choose one that leaves no streaks or residue. Bondline supplies Staticide ESD mat and tabletop cleaner suitable for cleaning workstations, tabletops, and anti-static mats, including rubber and vinyl. You should avoid using any cleaner that contains alcohol in its ingredients, as this can dry out the mats, causing them to lose their static fighting abilities. You also shouldn’t use household multipurpose cleaners or any other cleaners not made especially for ESD mats, as they can damage the mat’s surface and compromise electrical properties.
