- Description The Corner Modular Floor Protection Systems protects a combustible floor under a wood burning stove and prevents embers from falling on the floor during reloading. Insulated with 1/2″ Micore 300 and rated with an R factor of 1.03 which makes it the perfect choice for wood stoves that require floor protection with an R-Factor. The system is manufactured with a black steel finish that easily clips together without hardware. We offer the Corner Modular Floor Protection in two sizes: 54″ and 60″. The 54″ corner floor protection is recommended for stoves that do not exceed 25″ depth x 25″ width. The 60″ corner floor protection is recommended for stoves that do not exceed 31″ depth by 31″ width. A 46 3/4″ x 18″ extension is available to extend the floor protection to your needs. No additional hardware is needed for attaching the extension to the floor protection.
