- This is a new pepper that crossed for us a couple of years ago. It looks like jalapeno and goes through the five-color changes of a Chinese 5 Color pepper. The peppers themselves are the size of jalapeno with the meat being almost as thick. The heat is a little hotter than a jalapeno but not too much hotter. This is a great colorful plant that can grow in a bed or containers. These seeds are rare and only have 12 per package
