For use within Electrostatic Protected Areas and Cleanroom. Manufactured from a natural fibre base and film coated with a rubber based adhesive to give it non-static generating properties. Both sides of the tape are ESD treated, upper side and adhesive side. The tape’s upper layer is manufactured with antistatic acrylic PSA and the tape’s bottom layer is manufactured from OPP film. Application Blue clear ESD tape used to seal conductive/ESD bags or boxes used for the protection of electrostatic sensitive devices., offering a blue tint. The tape is transparent light blue on application and will not obscure printed text or images. Tape can be written on with a spirit-based marker, which removes easily and cleanly without leaving adhesive deposits. These properties also make the product suitable for the temporary labelling and might be required during inspection and quality control procedures. All non-ESD tapes should be replaced with Anti Static Tapes to comply with EN-61340-5. The Electro Static Protected Area (EPA) should never have any electrostatic generating tapes.
